Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure that you have carefully considered the following points:

For all articles
• The manuscript should include: 1-Title page, 2-Abstract (up to 250 words subdivided into background, methods, results, conclusion), 3-Keywords (Keywords should not be more than 5 words. All keywords should be provided according to MeSH terms at: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/MBrowser.html.), 4-Main text including a) introduction, b) material and methods, c) results, d) discussion, 5-Conclusion, 6-Acknowledgments, 7-Authors, contributions, 8-Competing interests, 9-Ethical issue, 10-Funding, 11-References, 12- Tables and/or Figures. All lines of the manuscript should be numbered. Line numbers are automatically added in Microsoft Word documents as such: Tab Page Layout → Line Numbers  Continuous.
• Separate the title page with all authors` affiliations clearly given.
• The title should be a maximum of 110 characters and spaces.
• The research ethics committee ID must be mentioned in the "Ethical issue" section of the manuscript.
• The information of all the authors, including first name, last name, ORCID, affiliation, email, address, etc should enter on the journal's website when the article is submitted to the journal.

What is ORCID
ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is an open, non-profit, community-based effort to provide a registry of unique researcher identifiers and a transparent method of linking research activities and outputs to these identifiers. ORCID is unique in its ability to reach across disciplines, research sectors, and national boundaries and its cooperation with other identifiers systems.
Why use ORCID
As researchers and scholars, you face the ongoing challenge of distinguishing your research activities from those of others with similar names. You need to be able to easily and uniquely attach your identity to research objects such as datasets, equipment, articles, media stories, citation, experiments, patents, and notebooks. As you collaborate across disciplines, institutions, and borders, you must interact with an increasing number and diversity of research information systems. Entering data over and over again can be time-consuming, and often frustrating.

Affiliations should be corrected based on the journal’s format as below:

Department, School, University, City, Country

Example:  Research Center for Environmental Health Technology, School of Public Health, Iran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran.

Authors, contributions: Author contributions should be clarified based on the following items:(Full Name)
Conceptualization:
Data curation:
Formal Analysis:
Funding acquisition:
Investigation:
Methodology:
Project administration:
Resources:
Software:
Supervision:
Validation:
Visualization:
Writing – original draft:
Writing – review & editing:
Add author names in front of each above-mentioned contributor role if applicable. For “role definition” of the above-mentioned items see the following link:
https://credit.niso.org/.

Competing interests: Authors must acknowledge and declare any sources of funding and potential conflicting interest, such as receiving funds or fees by, or holding stocks and shares in an organization that may profit or lose through the publication of your paper. Declaring a competing interest will not lead to the automatic rejection of the paper, but we would like to be made aware of it.

Ethical issue: Ethical considerations must be addressed after the acknowledgments section. 1) Please state that informed consent was obtained from all human adult participants and from the parents or legal guardians of minors. Include the name of the appropriate institutional review board that approved the project. 2) Indicate in the text that the maintenance and care of experimental animals comply with National Institutes of Health guidelines for the humane use of laboratory animals, or those of your Institute or agency. Note that the Provision of the statement from the Bioethics Committee is essential for clinical trials and other relevant studies.

• On acceptance, the corresponding author will be contacted to submit an electronic copyright form (download it).

 References

  •  References should be in the correct Journal style, as below (Vancouver Style)
  • Arrange references as a simple list at the end of your manuscript.
  • Authors are responsible for the accuracy of cited references and these should be checked before the manuscript is submitted.
  • Only one publication can be listed for each number.
  • Published conference abstracts, numbered patents, and preprints on recognized servers may be included in reference lists, but text, grant details, and acknowledgments may not Citing in the text.
  • Cite references in the text sequentially in the Vancouver numbering style within the parentheses before the nearest punctuation mark. For example: …as reported by Saito and colleagues (13).
  • Two references are cited with a comma and no space. Three or more consecutive references are cited in a range with dashes.
  • References in tables, figures, and panels should be in numerical order according to where the item is cited in the text.
  • Please note that if references are not cited in order the manuscript may be returned for amendment before it is passed on to the Editor for assessment.
  • Only papers published or in press should be included in the reference list. Personal communications or unpublished data must be cited in parentheses in the text with the name(s) of the source(s) and the year. Authors should request permission from the source to cite unpublished data.
